A Mixtape For You #19: Jerusalem In My Heart

Even if they are not able to come and perform in Turkey, your fellow musicians and DJs from around the world, who have been here before have messages for you. Although the cultural life in country came to some sort of a halt, know that their music and thoughts are with us. Music is unity; it heals, gives hope, recognises no boundaries and is universal. So we start sharing their messages and the mixtapes they prepared especially for you. In hopes and dreaming of beautiful days…

A Mixtape For You #19: Jerusalem In My Heart

Simply, this is what has been in my headphones over the past little while on what seems like months and months of eternal touring. Music heals all.

-Jerusalem In My Heart

1- O Paon – Fleuve i (Genevieve is an amazing artist, so accomplished and so talented. She recently left us. Her music is so so powerful)
2- Lucrecia Dalt – iot: 2a. roto, 2b. quebrado, 2c. suelto (Berliner by way of Columbia. A master at what she does.)
3- Le Révélateur – Imagineers Are Governed (Very emotionally engaging duo from Montreal. Cold yet somehow so warm.)
4- Kamaiyah – How Does It Feel (Just simply badass.)
5- Dead Moon – In The Graveyard (Music to set the state on fire to.)
6- Le fruit vert – Ephemerides (Montreal duo that defies category. Amazing composition and an attention to detail that is quite amazing.)
7- Night Musik – Gold Mirror (PLAY LOUD)
8- Księżyc – Chod f (Have virtually no info on this. Polish band from the 80’s. So engaging.)
9- Lewis – Bon voyage (Who I wish I could be.)
10- Kara-Lis Coverdale – Touch Me And Die (Montreal electronics wizard. Recent discovery, but I love this record.)
