A Mixtape For You #29: Nite Jewel

Here is a mixtape for İstanbul. It’s called “Private Party,” a mix of songs you could enjoy with friends on a mellow nite. I went to istanbul last year with Julia Holter and met such great people and had such an incredible experience. It was one of the most fascinating and beautiful cities i’ve ever been to. I guess I could imagine playing this mixtape at the house of one of our friends there, having drinks and eating mantı. Maybe hanging on the porch while surrounded by all the cute cats that roam on the Asian side. It’s a terrible tragedy what has happened in İstanbul and around the world due to rising extremism and hatred. I hope this mix brings some love in this difficult time.
